Geometry

We introduce the basic figures such as circle, triangle, square, rectangle etc…so that when geometry is introduced to the child later on his life he would absorb it with joy and enthusiasm and not acquire a distaste for it.

Botany

The different parts of the tree, leaves and flowers are given their specific names. Little children are fascinated by long and difficult words like stipules which they can roll round their tongue and you will be amazed how they remember words like napiform, fusiform and conical.

Geography

We introduce the globe. We also present the continents, oceans, zones and political divisions and the land formations e.g. Island, Lake, Strait and Isthmus etc. Sri Lanka – the Provinces, Rivers etc.

Zoology

Most children find this area fascinating and interesting - the world of animals, birds, fish & reptiles.
